One of the most recent ways people are using the internet for income, is freelancing. Freelancing is where a company or individual hires someone with the skill(s) they need to do a project for them. After the project the hirer pays the hired, and that's the end of the freelancer's (the hired) work for that hirer.

But the hardest workers are the freelance writers, because it takes a lot more to write, than to design a web page look. There are tutorials for things like web design, but you can't tell someone how to write. That takes imagination, skill, and diligence, to be a writer.
