Recently I have noticed that there has been some online chit chat constructive criticism verbal pot shots taken at a few super aggressive high-out put take no prisoners type online article submitters to online free article website Blogs. In reviewing these complaints and snippy comments, I have noticed that those who are doing the complaining have written less than 100-200 articles themselves, which they have been willing to post online for all the world to see. In taking such a tact they are shielded from the very critiques they give the high-out put authors.
Since I am an aggressive, take no prisoners fierce competitor of sorts, even a little these days in my retirement, as have one comment to these snippy comments and that is; ?look at the scoreboard!? Today, I have posted 3333 articles online in ten months or 11.11 per day. In doing so and looking back at the dust, I say to these critics; I have 845,000 article views and a click thru rate of nearly 2.4%.
Many of these critics are editors, ghost writers, copyrighters and such and they are professionals in the writing industry. For them to compare their articles with mine is silly, it is an apples and bananas comparison. For instance I would never write a perfectly politically correct sentence to appease someone or manipulate them to buy something. Nor would they write an article only for the purpose of making someone think on a particular subject. It is silly for someone who is an editor of some type to attack my writing. It is like a female shot putter comparing herself to me as a 4-minute miler, saying I run too much and go too fast. Indeed but I do not play with lead balls either, see my point? No, well think on it.
It is not fair to have these critics of my articles, when they say that there are some miss-spellings here and there or words which are out of sync such as a ?you? when it should have been a ?your? or a ?there? when it should have been a ?Their.? Indeed if this is the best the critics can come up with then I wish to say something I use to have to say in Track and Field in the two-mile event; ?Track!? Meaning move the hell over, I am going to lap you. As I did this I would always pick up the pace just a little, lean forward and breath out like the howling wind right as I went by. They hard nothing but silence and wind and rapid paced footsteps as I went by.
Indeed, my athletic days of that level of agility and sheer speed maybe nearly over, but my mind remembers the detractors, whom were lapped. Those who cannot perform always call into critique those who surpass. So, please critics, button it. So, either lead, follow or get out of the way. Expect more of this in 2006.
