Article writing with little inclination and little budget! How do I do that then?
Simply put - owning, running and marketing an internet based business or a site needs information, lots of it and ever changing information. Articles quench the thirst for information of your visitors and potential customers. Articles are crucial and imperative to attract your customers, keep your visitors coming back and get you into the top levels of the search engines.
We know that but
we hate writing, we don't have a lot of money so what do we do?
1. Public Domain articles. Public domain articles are articles freely given to the public for public use. The copyright has expired or not been taken out. You can do whatever you want with them. You can place them on your site, name them as yours, put them in a newsletter or make changes to them.
2. Private Label Rights articles.
PLR articles are those that you have purchased the rights to use them as your own. You usually can not put copyright notices on them, but
you can pass yourself off as the author, make changes to them and publish them as you wish. Good PLR articles are restricted in their sales so that not too many people own them.
The major restriction to both of these types of articles are that you cannot submit them to article directories. Some people try and indeed some appear on lesser directories, but it is a very quick way to get yourself banned from submitting articles in the future.
The second restriction is the matter that others also have access to these articles. The major search engines are cracking down on duplicate content and you want your site to be unique so that it stands out from your competitors. Lastly some of the PLR articles have very poor grammar and spelling, and the public domain articles may be out of date, so both types will need checking and improving.
So what's the answer then?
Well its inspiration!
Take these articles and make changes to them or use them as the basis for your own article. You can put slightly changed articles on your web site, say about 10%-20% of it being changed. You can add your own slant to the article, correct the grammar, update it, tailor it to the needs of your own web site.
Some article sites will allow you to submit PLR and public domain articles that have been substantially changed. Many others require original work only.
Read through the original article and use it to inspire you to write your own article perhaps using the concepts, values or ideas of the original article.
Beware of some these article rewriters that are advertised, many of them only put a new top and tail on the article. The major sites are aware of them and look out for them. You'll get banned
Article writing as in the rest of business is equal parts inspiration and perspiration we are just telling you where to find the inspiration!
