What is an article view? An article view, as defined by EzineArticles.com, is simply "....the number of times this article has been viewed by visitors of EzineArticles.com."
I saw it coming a few months back. My article views were growing by leaps and bounds. So I set a goal to reach 100,000 views by the end of 2005.
A few weeks ago I realized that this goal might be reached sooner than I had thought. In the last few days I had guessed it would be Monday or Tuesday. As I sat waiting for my 5pm counseling client today, I kept hitting the refresh button as the article view count crept toward 100K.
At 5:06 pm (my client was kind enough be late) the article view count hit 100,000.
The advantages of 100,000 views

Prospects - As a result of my articles being distributed all over the internet, I get a constant stream of highly qualified prospects coming to my sights. Three more new subscribers joined while I was writing this article.
Publicity - As a result of article writing and marketing, my name is now known on the internet in at least 3 separate circles.
Profits - Many of the highly qualified prospects that visit my websites become customers and clients. It's as simple, and powerful, as that.
