Refunds are on the rise!
Dishonest people disguise as customers, buy a digital
product and then ask for the refund in less than 2 hrs without even trying
the product! There is nothing much we can do to keep them away with
the current payment structures and technology.
But most importantly, how can we keep a customer who is
honest but peeved with our product and service. Here are some
strategies to keep a good customer.
1. Quality of your product: Always maintain the
quality of your product along with competitive pricing. Support it with an
eye for over delivering more than you promised. Spree quality bonuses that
are relevant and connected with your offer.
2. Quality customer service: Are you providing good
customer support?. Are you answering her emails in under 12 hrs? Most of
the time, customers who are dissatisfied with your product may have missed
a major feature of your product. Identify this and plug-in the solution.
3. Look for alternate solutions: In some situations
you can convert an order into a different product. All you have to do is
place your product line in front your customer and ask him to choose a
product in lieu of the earlier one he asked for a refund.
4. After sales follow-up: Do not limit your follow
up with a mechanical thank you letter. Put life into it and send your
customer an additional 2 more unannounced bonuses! And if possible, give
him 2 more bonuses after the initial announced bonus! Shower him with your
concern and appreciation in a timely manner.
That's the 4 simple basic rules for reducing the refund
from your website. Let me assure you that you will be building a loyal
bunch of customers -- who will shower you back with more orders!

This one's an old favorite of mine. When you find what you may think is an
ideal keyword, before you start tweaking your pages, it's a good idea to
run it through this tester. Using the Google API, it analyzes whether or
not a given phrase will be worth your efforts.
You'll already have to be well-versed in how to find good keywords to plug
into the tool, but once you have that nailed, it's pretty reliable in
telling you whether it's worth your time to target that phrase. If you use
flash on your site, check out the flash viewer on their utilities page as
well.
